Fish ‘n Fins Dive Shop received the prestigious “2017 Tauchen Award” at the biggest Water Sport Exhibition in the world “DAS BOOT” that was held in Dusseldorf, Germany.

Fish ‘n Fins home to Palau’s leading dive and tour center. Established in 1972,They are the true pioneer dive operation in Palau. Fish ‘n Fins was founded by one of Palau’s first underwater explorers, Francis Toribiong. Fish ‘n Fins Dive center along with the Ocean Hunter fleet of liveaboards is owned and run by Navot & Tova Bornovski.

The TAUCHEN Awards – the “Oscars of the Diving Industry” – were handed over to the winners for the 19th time. The bronze dolphin statures were awarded to outstanding companies and products in a total of 17 categories of technology and tourism in the “Düsseldorfer Nachresidenz” Dusseldorf.

The Tauchen Award is probably the most glamorous event in the diving industry: the TAUCHEN bronze trophies were awarded on the festive evening to outstanding companies and products in a total of 17 categories of technology, tourism and diving education. For the diving industry, the coveted dolphin trophies can be compared with the Oscar Award.

Fish ‘n Fins has been awarded the award as the best dive shop in the Indo-Pacific region. This award brought Palau to the center of attention of the diving world in Europe. While attending the BOOT Show, Tova Harel Bornovski, was greeted by Prince Albert of Monaco who sent his regards to Palau.
